The Tour de l'Horloge is a must-see during your stay in Auxerre!
First installed in the 15ᵉ century, the tower was ravaged by fire in 1825. Entirely restored to its original state, the tower and its clock have lost none of their splendour.

The special feature of this clock is its astronomical dial! The clock has two hands indicating the sun's movements and the other the moon's movements.
Take time to admire the beauty of the architecture of the tower and the clock face.

Currently under renovation, the clock is scheduled to reopen in June 2022.
